Apple iPad 2 does away with the single-core processor and in its place is an A5 1GHz dual-core processor adding more power. A dual-core processor will result in faster performance and smoother multi-tasking. According to Apple, the iPad 2 will offer up to nine times faster graphics performance than the first iPad.
