So, even with the launch of Nokia Windows phone smartphones, most of us in Nigeria and Africa may have to be using Symbian Smartphones (especially entry level users who need cheap smartphones), since it may take a while before Nokia figures out how to build cheap Windows Phone OS based smartphones.

So, here are some of the latest Nokia smartphones based on the Symbian OS i.e. Symbian S60, Symbian^3, Symbian Anna (an update of Symbian^3). Here are Nokia Symbian Belle Phones.
Nokia 500 1GHz Symbian Smartphone
Nokia 500 is Nokia’s first 1GHz Symbian smartphone. It is also the lightest Nokia smartphone based on the Symbian^3 OS running the latest Symbian Anna OS with enough power to support future updates. Nokia 500 features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5.0MP camera, 2GB built-in memory with up to 32GB memory card support, GPS with Nokia Ovi Maps, swappable back covers (three colours provided free), Wi-Fi, push email, instant messaging, and social media support.
Nokia 500 is the cheapest Nokia Smartphone running Symbian^3 OS. Despite all these features, Nokia has priced it at 150 Euros before taxes and subsidies (N32,000). So, if you find current Symbian^3 phones too expensive for your budget, this smartphone is for you. It is now available in Nigeria at a price of around N32,000 and is upgradable to Symbian Belle.

Nokia Oro Luxury Limited-Edition Smartphone
Nokia Oro is a gold plated luxury smartphone. It is a limited edition smartphone targeted at users who want a distinctive look on their smartphone and do not mind spending good money to make that happen. Nokia Oro comes with an 18-carat scratch-resistant gold plating, a home key made from sapphire crystal, premium leather at the back, and an 18 carat gold plated Bluetooth headset.
Feature wise, Nokia Oro is similar to the Nokia C7 Smartphone. It features Symbian Anna on a 680MHz processor, a 3.5-inch AMOLED display with HD viewing capability, 8 megapixels camera with 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and high-speed HSDPA internet.
