Google and partner ASUS have updated the Nexus 7 tablet for 2013. The new Google Nexus 7 is slimmer, lighter, and faster with an awesome display. If you are looking for the best tablet for watching movies, playing games, and reading books, the Google Nexus 7 2nd Edition is the best tablet out there.
The build of the Nexus 7 has greatly improved. Despite its competitive pricing, the Google Nexus 7 looks sleek and classy. It is slimmer than the first generation tablet and also slightly lighter, making it more comfortably to hold.
An Awesome Display
One of the most noticeable differences between the current generation Nexus 7 over its predecessor is the display. Google Nexus 7 now boasts of the best display on any tablet. With a pixel-packed resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels on the 7-inch display (323ppi), the Nexus 7 boasts of the having the sharpest 7-inch tablet screen.
With Apple taking forever, to offer Retina display on its own 7-inch offering, the iPad Mini, Google is already offering a tablet with what can be called a Retina display. At 323 ppi, the display on the Google Nexus 7 even rivals the iPad 4 with its 264 ppi display. The 1080p HD IPS display is 7.02-inch diagonal and protected by scratch resistant Corning glass.
The all new Nexus 7 offers two cameras: a rear facing 5 megapixel camera and a 1.2 megapixels camera front-facing camera.
Jelly Bean Part 3
Google Nexus 7 comes with the latest iteration of Jelly Bean (Android 4.3) with some improvements. It comes with more power, now offering a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. Early reviews show the device to be fast and responsive.
The all new Google Nexus 7 comes in two variant, a Wi-Fi only model and a model with cellular data support on LTE, HSPA+, and GPRS/EDGE.
