Tecno Phantom A2 (a.k.a Tecno Phantom All) is Tecno’s new flagship smart phone. Looking at the specs it looks more or less like Tecno’s response to the Infinix Alpha. It features a large 5.7-inch display putting it in the phablet category. Tecno Phantom A2 comes with a 13 megapixels camera and bigger battery that Tecno claims can offer up to 17.3 hours talktime. Tecno Phantom 8 is the latest member of the Phantom series.

The Hardware & Software
The basic hardware and software in the Phantom A2 is very similar to the Phantom A Plus. It features a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and a dedicated graphics chip. It is loaded with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), just like the Tecno Phantom A+.
Tecno Phantom A2 comes pre-loaded with Facebook, Twitter, Opera Mini, and Palmchat with loads of Google Apps like GMail, Google+, Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube all pre-installed and over 600,000 apps available for download at the Google Play Store.
Display & Camera
Tecno Phantom A2 features a large HD display. It is a 5.7-inch touchscreen with half HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels). Tecno also boosted the camera from 8MP to an impressive 13 megapixels camera with LED Flash and video recording. A front-facing 8 MP camera for videocalling and possibly self-portraits is also provided, which I think is an over-kill.
