Jumia, Nigeria’s leading online store is now selling Sony’s latest gaming console, the PlayStation 4 in Nigeria. The Sony PlayStation 4 sold over 1 million units within the first 24 hours of launch in the United States and seems to be following the same pattern at Jumia as it appears that existing stock at Jumia has sold out less than 6 hours after launch.

I checked Jumia now and it appears the Sony PlayStation 4 is no longer available. Earlier in the morning when I checked (around 10 am) there were 8 units in stock, less than 4 hours later all 8 have been sold out I assume.

The new PlayStation 4 comes with the latest Sony operating system Orbis S along with other key features such as PlayStation Plus which connects all players online, Dual shock 4 wireless controller, and PlayStation motion sensing camera with 1280x800px lense making the new console one of the best to be seen in the gaming world.

Speaking about the launch, Ore Odusanya, Head Of Gaming & Electronics JUMIA Nigeria said “We are very excited to be the first company to have the latest PlayStation console available in Nigeria. Every day we strive to make the online shopping experience better for our customers and we are happy to now provide a requested world known product to the Nigerian market.”

Hopefully, Jumia will be replenishing their stock soon.
