A Stylish Smartwatch
Pebble Steel looks stylish in a stainless steel body available in brushed stainless steel or black matte. Pebble Steel enables you swap the bands and comes with two straps. One is a metal strap matching the colour of your Steel smartwatch’s body and the other is a black leather strap. Straps may also be available in other colours.
Smart watches are essentially for getting notifications from your smartphone and the Pebble smartwatch does that very well. It supports all apps supported by the original Pebble and is powered by a 120MHz processor. It can also be used for fitness tracking and of course its a watch. The Pebble Steel has a reasonable battery with a 5 to 7 days battery life and can easily be charged with the included magnetic charging cable.
It also allows you remotely control your smartphone. You can control music play for example as well as trigger the camera (3rd party app required) or accept and reject incoming calls.
Pebble Steel is water resistant rated at 5ATM. According to the company “You can swim, run in the rain, or wash dishes with your Pebble Steel”.
The Pebble Steel Smartwatch features a 1.26-inch e-paper (black & white) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It offers 168 x 144 pixels resolution.
Pebble Steel smartwatch supports the iPhone and most Android phones running Android 2.3 or higher.

Pebble Steel will go on sale in the United States starting January 28, 2014. Preorder is on and Pebble says it is first comes, first served. Pebble Steel price is currently $249 (39,000 Naira).
