HP Slate 7 Plus features a 7-inch display, just like the Slate 7, but its display is packed with more pixels, offering 1280 x 800 pixels compared to 1024 x 600 pixels. This will result in more vibrant images and sharper texts, which will make the Slate 7 Plus offer better viewing experience for watching movies, browsing the web, or reading.
HP Slate 7 Plus is powered 1.3GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, which will deliver smoother performance than dual-core processors on the first Slate 7. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with 1GB of RAM. The tablet still offers the same 8GB storage with 25GB free lifetime cloud storage from Box, plus a microSD slot that enables you extend built-in storage by up to 32GB.
HP Slate 7 Plus has a 5 megapixels camera on the back and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. Like the HP Slate 7, the Slate & Plus only supports Wi-Fi and does not support GSM/GPRS/EDGE or 3G.
Price and Availability
HP Slate 7 Plus tablet is already available in the United States for $149, but it is not yet available in Nigeria. We expect HP Slate 7 Plus Tablet Price in Nigeria to range from N30,000 to N37,000 at launch.
