Like in the first Galaxy Beam, the built-in projector enables you project content on a wall for a bigger view, but now the resolution have been increased for better quality image and video projections. Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 also offers faster processors, a bigger display, and a higher capacity battery.

The Beam is Back
The first Beam was launched in 2012, so it took Samsung a good 2 years to offer a successor. The Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 is loaded with Jelly Bean, a great improvement over the first Beam which came with GingerBread. Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 is powered by an 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
The unique selling point of Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 is evidently its 800 x 480-pixel resolution (WVGA) projector, which gives you up to 36-inches of good projection on a flat surface.
Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 has a larger 4.66-inch display, but stays at 480 x 800 pixels resoltuion. It is built-in storage is expandable memory by up to 64GB via its micro SD card slot. The official site does not mention anything on the in-built storage, though reliable sources quote it at 4 GB.
Its rear 5 megapixels camera, same as its predecessor with LED flash while the front camera is 0.3 megapixels. The battery has been boosted to 2,600 mAh, which would offer longer battery life. Samsung is offering Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 as a niche product and will only be available in limited supply.
