The Firefox Smartphone
ZTE Open C comes in a soft touch finish to the back, which feels a good deal better than a glossy plastic mobile. At 10.8mm thick, the ZTE Open C isn’t exactly slim but it is comfortable and fits well in the hand.
ZTE Open C sports a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The screen offers a decent view considering the price you are paying for the phone.
The ZTE Open C is one few phones running on the Firefox OS. It’s a cozy system made by Mozilla and is based on HTML5 mainly. It comes with a simple lock screen with the Firefox logo, and Facebook/Twitter pre-installed. Home screen is loaded with some basic apps like calendar, email, settings.
The dual-core 1.2GHz processor is backed by 512MB RAM, which isn’t a particularly impressive spec, but runs smoothly on the ZTE Open C. It features fast 3G internet, Wi-Fi hotspot, and FM radio on board.
Pricing and availability
ZTE Open C is not yet available in Nigeria. In fact, no smartphone with Firefox OS have been launched in the country officially. We currently have no data on pricing and availability. When available, ZTE Open C Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N15,000 to N22,000 at launch.
