The Display
Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro comes with a 5.3-inch IPS touchscreen, which is slightly larger than what you would find on the previous version. The display is also bigger than the 5-inch provided on Samsung Galaxy S5.
The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with 416 ppi pixel density, lower than that of the Galaxy S5, however, but still great for watching movies and browsing the web.
The Cameras
Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro comes equipped with a 13 megapixels main camera and an improved 13 megapixels front-facing camera (from 5MP) as well to put the smartphone in the same category as the HTC Desire Eye. However, the front-facing camera lacks LED flash.
Lenovo however has an external flash called Vibe Extension Selfie Flash that can be used to outstandingly compensate for the missing LED flash for the front camera on the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro. The flash extension is plugged into the phone’s 3.5mm headset port.
Software and Performance
Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system out-of-the-box. It is powered by a 1.5GHz, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor (Cortex A53 CPU) which should help you get good enough performance out of the device.
It comes with RAM of 2GB and 32GB integrated storage space that can be expandable with a microSD card. The Li-Po battery of Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro has also received a slight boost, coming in at 2410 mAh. Weighing 140 grams, the smartphone can be used on Category 4 LTE networks.
Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is expected to be released in April at a price of around $500 (N100,000). It will be available in champagne gold, blue and pink colours.
Pricing and Availability
Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is not yet available in Nigeria, its global launch is expected to start in April, 2015. When available, you can buy it at leading online stores in Nigeria. Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro price in Nigeria is expected to range from N98,000 to N120,000 depending on your location in the country.
