Huawei Watch is another smartwatch that borrows its design cues from traditional watches with its full circle design and crown. The Huawei Watch, the first Android Wear watch from its Chinese manufacturer, is well-designed and looks more like a watch than several of its rivals using similar software.

The Design
Featuring a stainless steel unibody design, Huawei Watch is elegantly set out and described as the “most compact” circular smart watch. The wearable has a diameter of 42 millimetres, slightly smaller than the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R.
With a thickness of 11.3 millimetres, Huawei Watch flaunts a scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal – similar to the one used on Apple Watch. The smart watch, which will be available in black, silver or gold colours, will come with a stainless steel or fine-grain leather strap. There are more than 40 interfaces for users to select from.
Specifications and Features
The Huawei Watch sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels. A density of 286 pixels per inch means users are in for a relatively crispy display here. The screen, which ranks very high for an Android Wear device, has a 10000:1 contrast ratio.
Below the surface, the Huawei Watch packs a Qualcomm processor running at 1.2GHz and RAM of 512MB capacity. Onboard storage is 4GB.
Fitness is well covered in Huawei Watch with its ability to track your activities as well as calories burned while at them. The smart watch, which has a heart rate monitor, is pre-loaded with Google Fit as is common with Android Wear devices.
It has an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a barometer. Quick calling and messaging is enabled on the wearable, on which it is very easy to find frequent contacts.
It is not clear yet how much the Huawei Watch will command when it hits the market.
Pricing and availability
Huawei Watch is not yet available in Nigeria. When available, you can buy the smartphone at leading online stores in Nigeria. Huawei Watch Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N75,000 to N90,000 at launch.
