Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 is a multi-mode laptop that is designed to transform seamlessly from a notebook to tablet. The 2-in-1 laptop, which is now in its 2nd generation features an attractively slim design, a multi-touch display and a powerful fifth-generation Intel Core processor.

The Design

At 18.8 mm and 1.57 kg, Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 is thin and light, but it does not break any record in either category. The matte hybrid boasts a durable magnesium alloy frame to ensure it can withstand some level of rugged use and knocks.

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 features a quality 360-degree hinge that allows you switch between laptop, stand, tent and tablet modes easily. The multimode keyboard is designed to prevent accidental key presses and retracts into the hybrid’s body as you fold it back.

Display and Hardware

As could be deduced from its name, the ThinkPad Yoga 12 sports a 12.5-inch touchscreen with either an HD (768p) or an impressive Full HD (1080p) resolution. The screen is protected from scratches and smudges by a tough Dragontrail glass.

Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 supports 10-point multi-touch which enables you control the notebook using gestures. The hybrid is powered by fifth-generation Intel Core processors, available in Core i3, i5 or i7 options.

Paired with either 4 GB or 8 GB of DDR3L RAM, the Intel chip will ensure you experience minimal glitches, if any at all, while using the multi-mode laptop. It is supported by integrated Intel HD 5500 Graphics.
