Sony Super Slim 4K TV

Last week, the takeover of the machines had some setback with reports that Twitter is favouring a human curated newsfeed over machine algorithm in the Twitter Project Lightning aimed at offering a better experience to users.

However, the machines bounced back this week Monday with Amazon announcing that it will be relying on machine learning algorithms in order to surface the best and most useful product reviews to customers.

Also on Monday, French mobile maker, Wiko launched the Ridge 4G in Nigeria. Although the phone is said to be available immediately, I could not spot it in two of Nigeria’s leading online stores.

The Ridge 4G sports a brilliant 5-inch IPS display with a super light and slim design with a unique suede/velvety style back that gives a brilliant stone effect. Of course, I am not forgetting 4G LTE.

Finally a GMail Undo Send Option

On Wednesday, Google unlocked the GMail Undo Send feature, which will allow users revert an email within a few seconds after sending a message. Currently users have four options – 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds.

So, emails are no longer final once you press the send button, if you have regrets you can reverse it within your set time-frame. However, the feature is not set by default, you have to enable it in Gmail settings.

Also on Wednesday Samsung was found to be secretly installing a program that disables Windows Updates on their branded computers denying them access to latest Software patches and leaving them vulnerable.

Microsoft’s popular Office apps will be heading to Android in full force with the Office apps now available for Android Phones. The Apps had been available for Android tablets, but Microsoft announced on Thursday that the official Office apps are now available for Android phones.
