The Lenovo MIIX 700, also known as the IdeaPad MIIX 700, is an impressive convertible from Lenovo which looks set to give Microsoft’s highly-rated Surface Pro 3 tablets a tough competition. Unveiled at IFA 2015, the Windows 10 hybrid is designed to deliver similar experience with its kickstand, solid hinge design and detachable keyboard.
Build and Screen
If you have seen a Microsoft Surface before, you could easily mistake the new Lenovo MIIX 700 for one from a distance. It comes with a detachable keyboard and quality kickstand that let you use it as a desktop computer, a notebook or a tablet.
The keyboard gives a comparable experience to the Surface; the experience is similar to what you’d expect on a consumer laptop from Lenovo. It can be used for typing via Bluetooth as well. The kickstand uses similar watchband hinge found on the high-end Yoga 3 Pro and can be moved around for up to 160 degrees.
Lenovo MIIX 700 is quite lightweight at just 1.7 pounds, with the keyboard included. The convertible sports a 12-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, making for stunning viewing experience.
Lenovo MIIX 700 comes with the Bluetooth keyboard and Stylus included in the box.
