Lenovo K3 Note Music is an upgraded variant of the similarly-named K3 Note built to appeal to lovers of music. The music-focused smartphone boasts a more powerful speaker design, robust cameras, an octa-core processor and blazing-fast LTE connection capability.
Design and Display
In terms of design, Lenovo K3 Note Music looks a lot like the K3 Note that was released some months ago. It retains the relatively slim look at 8mm thick and still weighs about 150 grams.
The phone comes in attractive onyx black, pearl white and laser yellow colours. It crams in a large 5.5-inch diagonal display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels for an impressive pixel density of 401 pixels per inch for pleasurable viewing at angles of up to 178 degrees.
Camera and Storage
The powerful cameras seen on Lenovo K3 Note are retained here. The K3 Note Music features a 13-megapixel Omnivision camera with dual LED flash on the rear and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front.
Onboard storage for keeping your photos and other files has a generous capacity of 16 GB, which can be expanded further by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
Performance and Software
If you enjoy the level of performance K3 Note had to offer, you will equally like this new smartphone. Lenovo K3 Note Music is armed with a robust MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor which runs along at speeds of up to 1.7 GHz.
Lenovo K3 Note Music comes with 2 GB of RAM to boost responsiveness and multitasking capability. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, which is overlaid with Lenovo’s Vibe user interface.
Other Features
Audio capability is what mainly differentiates Lenovo K3 Note Music from the regular variant. It is equipped with improved ceramic speakers that receive support from Dolby Atmos audio technology.
In addition, it features AnyWoofer technology which supposedly can transform a carton box into an amplifier. Lenovo says the smartphone is the first to come with the AnyWoofer technology.
The dual-SIM Lenovo K3 Note Music packs a larger 3000mAh battery and supports lightning-fast 4G LTE connectivity. Both SIM card slots are LTE-enabled. You also get Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for wireless connectivity.
