While it appears to be mostly active in the budget end of the market, Doogee Mobile is trying to push out devices that are appealing to the eyes still. You could notice this too in the HomTom HT5 with its ebony and black apricot wood rear covers.
The smartphone is aesthetic for a budget offering, although it is a tad thick at 9.8 millimetres.
It sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. This means the phone should deliver better wide viewing angles than the bigger Doogee HomTom HT6. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
