Design and Screen
The ASUS Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE features what looks to be a plastic body. However, it looks more pleasant to the eye than those rectangular slabs of budget smartphones, featuring ASUS’ signature design on the front. It is on the thick side at 9.9 millimetres while weighing about 153 grams.
The ASUS Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE sports a 5-inch diagonal display based on IPS technology.
The touchscreen has an HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels for a pixel density of 294 ppi. Expect impressive visual clarity and wide-angle viewing experience.
Camera
The ASUS Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE is marketed for its shot-taking prowess. You may not notice anything spectacular when you consider it comes with a combo of an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
However, ASUS says the main camera can produce shots with an awesome resolution of 7,552 x 4224 pixels – that’s more than 30 megapixels! Images supposedly taken using the shooter look quite sharp.

Under the hood, the ASUS Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE is equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, as against the four-core MediaTek on the earlier Zenfone Go.
The 64-bit CPU is paired with the same 2 GB of RAM for enjoyable multitasking and immersive gaming.
Integrated storage has a capacity of 16 GB and is expandable by up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
Sadly, the phone still runs on what may be considered now-obsolete Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, overlaid with Zen UI skin.

The ASUS Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE will have juice supplied to it by a 2,500mAh battery. As its name indicates, it offers support for blazing-fast 4G LTE connectivity.
