Design, Display, Camera
Huawei Honor 8 Pro offers a premium metal design with rounded corners. The front of the phone is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Huawei Honor 8 Pro has a 5.7-inch IPS display, which is slightly bigger than the 5.5-inch display offered by the Huawei P10 Plus.
It however has more pixels packed-in with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, for an impressive 515 ppi. Above the display, you will find an 8 megapixels camera for taking selfies.
Huawei Honor 8 Pro sports two 12 megapixels cameras on the back. One of the camera captures colour, while the other is a monochrome camera. Images captured by the two cameras are processed and combined into a single image with better quality.
The camera features both Laser and Phase Detection Autofocus. It also supports Face detection, HDR, and Panorama.

Just like the Huawei P10, the Huawei Honor 8 Pro runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) on a powerful HiSilicon Kirin 960 octa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage provided. In China, where this phone is called the Huawei Honor V9, you will also find a model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Huawei Honor 8 Pro supports NFC, Dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type C, and 4G LTE. The Android should support LTE on MTN, Etisalat, NTel, Smile, and InterC in Nigeria. Huawei Honor 8 Pro features a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and sports a 4000 mAh battery that promises up to 30 hours talktime.
