Design, Display, Camera
Design have always been a strong point of UMidigi phones since the UMi Plus and the UMidigi C Note is not an exception. The smartphone features premium metal unibody. Umidigi C Note offers a sleek design at 8.3mm slim. This puts it just 0.01mm fatter than the company’s top of the line Umidigi Z Pro.
Umidigi C Note offers the same Sharp-manufactured 5.5-inch display as the Umi Z and its Pro variant. The IGZO display offers 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The entire front of the phone is covered in Dragontrail Glass.
Umidigi C Note sports a 13 megapixels camera from Samsung on the back. The camera, which uses a SAMSUNG S5K3L8 sensor also offers phase detection autofocus as well as dual LED Flash. Umidigi C Note has a 5 megapixels front facing camera.

Hardware and Software
While, Umidigi C Note looks every bit like a premium phone on the outside, things get a bit tricky on the inside. The phone is powered by an entry-level Mediatek MT6737T chipset that offers a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. This is matched with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
While, the Umidigi C Note will run smoothly, do not expect it to run at the same performance level as the UMi Plus, Umi Plus E, and all other phones the company have launched since then. The advantage to a less powerful processor is better battery performance. This is probably why Umidigi C Note boasts of up to 2 days of average use.
However, battery performance have always been a strong suit of UMidigi phones, the Umi Plus we reviewed had a solid battery life. Umidigi C Note is loaded with Stock Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. It will be the first phone from the company to offer Android 7 out of the box.
Android 7.0 OTA became available for Umi phones in December 2016. Phones like the UMi Super, UMi Max, UMi Plus, and all other phones after that all support Android 7.0 OTA.
In Nigeria, the UMigidi C Note will support 4G LTE on MTN, Etisalat, NTel, Smile, and InterC, while in Ghana and Kenya you can connect via MTN and Safaricom respectively. It will not support LTE in the United States.
UMidigi Note C supports two Nano-SIM slots with the secondary SIM also doubling as the microSD slot (supports up to 256GB). It supports microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.1, a front-facing fingerprint sensor, and Wi-Fi.

Umidigi C Note is available at a price of around $139.99. You can buy it for $129.99 on GearBest. You can also find the smartphone at online retailers like Chinavasion, AliExpress, and Gearbest at launch.
The Umidigi C Note may endup selling on Jumia Nigeria as some of the older models from the company are currently being offered by an international third party seller. When that happens, Umidigi C Note price in Nigeria should range from 55,000 Naira and 105,000 Naira.
