Design and Display
The LG Q6 shows off reliable build with a body featuring metal accents. It is 8.1mm thick and just under 150 grams in weight. It comes in gold, white, blue, black or grey finish.
The smartphone boasts a superb FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, which is comparable to that of the G6. This 5.5-inch behemoth has slim bezels and boasts a high resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.
Camera and Storage
On the shot taking front, the LG Q6 offers a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front facing camera combo. The primary shooter promises high quality shots with features such as HDR and autofocus.
The LG Q6 records Full HD videos. The selfie snapper promises wide angle shots as well. You have 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage, depending on the variant bought. You will be able to expand the storage space by another 256 GB using a microSD card.
Performance and OS
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor gets the phone going. This delivers speeds of up to 1.4 GHz. The 64-bit CPU gets backing from an Adreno 505 GPU and 2GB to 4GB RAM, depending on the LG Q6 model you buy. The LG Q6a sports a 2GB RAM with 16GB built-in storage, the LG Q6 a 3GB RAM with 32GB built-in storage, and the LG Q6+ a 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
The operating system on offer here is Android 7.1 Nougat, with LG’s UX 6.0 skin running on top of it.

The LG Q6 packs in a non user replaceable 3,000mAh battery for power supply. It works on LTE networks for superb mobile download speeds. Connectivity features include microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot. The phone supports wireless screen share. There is GPS with Assisted GPS and voice navigation support.
