The Design and Display
UmiDigi S2 Pro features the same full screen design as the S2. It maintains the same 90% screen to body ratio with a 6.0-inch display and bezel-less design. It offers a full metal body available in red or black.
The 6.0-inch screen of the UmiDigi S2 Pro is however upgraded from the 720 x 1440 pixels of the S2 to 1080 x 2160 pixels for a more brilliant viewing experience. The bezel-less design means you get a massive 6-inch screen in a compact body that is about the size of a regular 5.5-inch smartphone.
The front of the phone is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 4. UmiDigi S2 Pro lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, instead you get a USB Type C to audio jack adapter for connecting your earphones via the USB Type C port.

The Cameras
UmiDigi S2 Pro features the same rear camera as its standard variant. You get a dual camera setup comprising of a 13 megapixels camera and a 5 megapixels camera. Things are a bit different in the front with the UmiDigi S2 Pro swapping out the 5MP selfie camera of the standard edition for a 16 megapixels camera.

UmiDigi S2 Pro runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) on the 2.6GHz octa-core Mediatek Helio P25 chipset. The smartphone has 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage with support for up to 256GB additional storage via the SIM2 slot.
UmiDigi S2 Pro sports a 5100 mAh battery that the company claims can last 2 days of normal use and up to 10 hours of gaming session. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type C.
Like in the UmiDigi Crystal Pro, the UmiDigi S2 Pro now has the fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone supports 4G LTE. It will support LTE on MTN, 9Mobile, NTel, Smile, and InterC in Nigeria, while in Ghana and Kenya you can connect via MTN and Safaricom respectively. UmiDigi S2 Pro will not support LTE in the United States.
