ZTE Tempo Go Specs and Price

During the MWC 2018, the ZTE Tempo Go was one of the entry level smartphones unveiled by numerous OEMs in support of the Android Go OS version. The movement mainly concerns smartphones of low specs like 1GB RAM and below such as the ZTE Tempo Go. Unlike the normal Android OS, the Go Edition have been made modified and light weight so that it can run smoothly and occupy less space on the smartphone.

Design and Display

The ZTE Tempo Go has a generic design but a bit fancier than some of its entry level siblings. Everything is kept simple with a chunk of bezel at both the top and bottom with much slimmer ones at the side up front. There are capacitive buttons below the screen with the normal arrangement of sensors above. At the back, there’s the camera and flash arranged horizontally on the left edge of the panel while the ZTE logo is centrally crested at the bottom.

For display, the ZTE Tempo Go provides you with 5.0-inch screen of low resolution which can be said for other smartphones in its category too. Just like the Nokia 1, there is an FWVGA display which is equivalent to 854 X 480 pixels and pixel density of 196 ppi.

Battery and Camera

There is a quite enough battery capacity which is not much but goes along to serve for up to a day on normal usage. However, this is removable in case you want to change it when it is low for a charged one. Inside, you have a 2, 200mWh Li-ion battery that charges through a MicroUSB port

In the photography department, the ZTE Tempo Go is ships with a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front camera. This is sort of the normal setup in most entry level smartphones.

Hardware and Software

Although, the ZTE Tempo Go sports a Qualcomm chipset but it is ultimately still a low grade one by every standard clocking at 1.1GHz only. In that regard, there is a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 and an Adreno 304 GPU for graphics munching.

Moving on to the rest of the specs sheet, the smartphone also has a 1GB internal memory and an 8GB ROM space which can be extended to 32GB using a memory card. As stated earlier the ZTE Tempo Go runs on Android Go based on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, which as its own Go version of apps for a smoother experience.
