Itel P32 Specs and Price

Item has been the king of budget smartphones in Africa for a while now and that is because they offer decent features at a small price. Their P-series is known to offer ample battery capacity and the new member, the Itel P32 does the same. Sporting a massive 3-day battery, the smartphone also carries a dual camera and some other decent features. In addition, the Itel P32 is nicely crafted within the boundary of a budget smartphone.

Design and Display

In the normal way of budget smartphones, the Itel P32 has a characteristical plastic body one with a sturdy build. You can also give some kudos to Itel for the compact build and uniform design as well as the nicely rounded edges. It has a matte back finish for better grip and dual camera lined up at the top left side and a fingerprint scanner is also found therein with the speaker at the far bottom. For added protection, there is a plastic case provided by Itel with gold, blue and black the available colour options.

On the display end, there is a nice 5.5-inch visual space and a commendable trimmed bezel for a low-budget smartphone. However, the resolution is just FWVGA which means you have 480 x 960 pixels lighting up the display.

Battery and Camera

What gives the Itel P32 an edge over most of the competition will be the large battery on it which is not a common occurrence in the entry-level market. Mostly because these smartphones are not the power hungry type and neither are they feature rich. Then for the Itel P32 which has a large 4, 000mAh battery, there is a promised 3-days of long-lasting usage.

All cameras on the smartphone have the same pixel count but don’t let that deceive you that’s all about what they have in common. The front houses a 5MP camera which was probably interpolated and the rear is home to a pair of 5MP cameras. You could make do with some okay shots which is more than enough at this price point.

Hardware and Software

The innards on the smartphone include a four core MediaTek MT6580 processor and a Mali-400 MP2 GPU for graphics. Furthermore, it has a 1GB RAM inside and an 8GB storage space with an expansion max of 32GB. Optimised for lower spec smartphone, it runs Go Edition of Android 8.1 Oreo on it along with Go/Lite version of apps on the smartphone. All of these makes the smartphone a but more snappy despite the sub-par hardware on it.
