Do it yourself (DIY) is becoming a growing trend in the cannabis community. This trend has been helped in no small measure by the availability of good quality BHO extractors.
With a butane hash oil extractor you can safely extract wax all by yourself.
I recently checkout Amazon to see the best rated BHO extractors available. I will be sharing my findings here.
However, before I continue I must warn that though extractors are getting safer, extracting BHO still comes with risks, chief of which are explosions since some of the inputs are highly inflammable. It is recommended that you use them outdoors.
The second is of course that smoking is dangerous to your health.
Now here are the best rated butane hash oil extractors on Amazon.
ABLAZE Closed Column 90 Gram Tube with TriPod
Rated 4.3 out of 5, shoppers are loving this product. The extractor comes with a 90g column and is capable of closed column and open blast extraction.
You are also provided with multiple filters and gaskets, which means that if one gets damaged, you have a replacement ready. However, they are all 150 microns, so if you need it finer, you have buy a finer filter separately.
The included tripod also makes your job easier. A large silicone mat is also provided.
ABLAZE Closed Column 45 Gram Tube with TriPod
Ablaze has all the best kits on Amazon. This one is just like the one above, but smaller offering a 45g column. So, if your demand is not high, this kit can be a good option.
This kit is just like the 90g kit above, just smaller. You still get the same extra 150 micron gasket with stainless screen and the silicone mat.
The major complaint of buyers of this kit is the finess of the filter. While 150 micron screens are provided, most buyers wished it had a filter of between 25 to 120 micron.
One complaint that is common with buyers of both Ablaze BHO extractors on Amazon is the fact that there are no directions provided in the kits.
This means that if you have no experience in extracting wax, you may hit some challenges in the beginning. Perhaps the kits were not made for total beginners.
If you are a total beginner, you may have to do your homework first before to avoid getting lost. A good place to start is on YouTube, were you can get loads of helpful guide.
