Design and Display
The smartphone sport a similar design with the P30 Lite that was announced last year. It comes in the shade of the same color with the P30 Lite which includes Midnight Black, Pearl White, Peacock Blue, and Breathing Crystal.
It has body dimensions of 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4 mm and weighs 152.9 g. On the overall, the phone features glass both on the back and front with a plastic frame.
The waterdrop notch on the front hosts the front camera and also pave the way to a large display size of 6.15 inches. The screen is equipped with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.
It has a resolution of 1080 x 2312 pixels and 415 PPI density. There is display protection and it reaches up to 84.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Camera

The new edition of the Huawei P30 Lite comes with the same Hisilicon Kirin 710 SOC based on 12nm process technology. The chipset has an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 2.2 GHz and it has Mali-G51 MP4 for graphics.
Additionally is the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system with EMUI 9.1 user interface. The major differences between this new edition and the old one are the RAM and the storage unit.
The New Edition comes with ample RAM of 6GB while the old one has 4GB. Aside from this, it also features generous inbuilt storage of 256GB while the old one has 128GB. You can still expand the memory up to 512 GB using a micro SD card.
Battery and Network
The Huawei P30 Lite New Edition has a 3,340mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It also comes with dual SIM that carries support for 4G LTE Network.
Other connectivity options on the device include a Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. For security, you will get a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the phone.
