Design and Display
The LG W10 Alpha comes in a nice and decent body that will raise a few heads. It has a smooth and neat panel that houses just the single snapper alongside an LED flash and the logo. It apparently lacks a fingerprint scanner which is one of its shortcomings.
The handset measures 147.3 x 71 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and the weight just 170 grams. Of course, the entire body is wrapped with all plastic while the front has glass.
It offers a screen size of 5.71 inches with an IPS LCD panel. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1512 pixels, a 19:9 ratio and 293 PPI density for clear visuals. The screen manages to reach 78.1% screen-to-body ratio and it’s equipped with display protection that is scratch resistant.
Camera
The LG W10 Alpha comes with a combo camera configuration. Around the back is a single camera of 8MP sensor with an LED flash. It also has another 8 MP on the front for selfies and video calling.
The front camera features AI Facial Unlock” with 128 identification points that promise to unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.
Hardware and Software
The budget LG phone is powered by a UNISOC SC9863 processor and a 28nm chipset with eight Cortex-A55 cores. The 4 cores are running at a speed of 1.6GHz, while the other 4-cores is running at a speed of 1.2GHz.
It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage with another model that parades 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.
Users will be able to expand the storage using a micro SD card up to 128GB. It runs on the old Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Hopefully, an update to Android 10 is on the way.
Battery and Power
The LG W10 Alpha packs a Non removable battery of 3450mAh with support for 5V 1.5A charging via a MicroUSB port.
It comes with a dual SIMs slot that has 4G VoLTE and ViLTE Dual SIM Dual Standby with other connectivity options such as Bluetooth, FM radio, A-GPS and Wi-Fi.

The LG W10 Alpha will sell at a price of $125 for the 2GB RAM and $140 for the 3GB RAM.
