Design and Display

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro max and it’s less premium sibling seems to have been cut from the same fabric, leaving us with the same design.

Aside from having the same physical appearance, you have also got the same build. It comprises of gorilla glass 5 on the rear, gorilla glass 5 upfront and plastic on the frame.

On the rear, you have quad cameras and a camera flash on a square layout. This rear panel is also home to the Redmi branding, which sought to indicates it’s a Xiaomi Smartphone.

Upfront, you have also got a setup that looks very similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy A71 and the Samsung Galaxy A51. It’s a display having a single camera cut-out in the top middle.

This display is a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a screen density of 395 ppi.

Whether or not Xiaomi releases a more premium note 9 pro max isn’t known, however, featuring an IPS CD display on a pro max smartphones is considered a let down to me.
