Design and Display
Honor 30 has a nice body that is built with a combination of glass and aluminum. It has a smooth panel that features the cameras set-up, an LED flash, and the branded Honor logo.
The overall body measures 160.3 x 74.2 x 8.1 mm in dimensions and it weighs 185 grams. It’s available in multiple colors shades such as Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, Midnight Black, Icelandic Frost, and Neon purple.
On the front, the punch hole hosts the front camera while the display has a fingerprint scanner for security. It offers a screen size of 6.53 inches with an OLED display and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
It has a tall 20:9 ratio, 403 PPI density, and the regular 60Hz refresh rate panel. You will also get display protection on the phone and it has an 86.6% screen-to-body ratio.
Camera
Moving to the camera set-up, the Honor 30 is blessed with a quad rear cameras set-up. The primary camera is 40MP RYYB IMX600 sensor, an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens, another 8 MP Persicope Telephoto lens with 50x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom and lastly is the 2MP Macro Lens.
The camera features LED flash, panorama, HDR and can record 4K video quality. The front camera is a single 32 MP snapper with HDR and it can also shoot 4K video resolution.
Hardware and Software
On the inside, the Honor 30 wisely choose the new octa-core Kirin 985 chipset with Mali-G76 GPU for graphics. The processor is handling its assignment at a speed of 2.58 GHz and it’s powered by Android 10 operating system with Magic UI 3.1 on top.
The inbuilt storage on the handset includes 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB and another 8GB RAM coupled with 256GB. Thanks to the Nano Memory slot on the inside which allows you to expand the phone up to 256GB.
Battery and Network
The battery on Honor 30 is 4000 mAh which will last for a longer period. The juicer packs a Fast charging 40W and Reverse charging 5W. This means you can use the phone to power other phones just like you do with a power bank.
Just like the OnePlus 8, the Honor 30 come on board with a 5G network. It also has Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band A-GPS, GALILEO, QZSS, NFC and 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.
