Design and Display
The Huawei Y5P packs a budget body design. The panel is wrapped with all plastic even on the frame. It makes use of a camera matrix which houses just a single snapper and an LED flash.
It measures 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.4 mm in dimensions and the weight just 144 grams. On the front, it packs some classic bezel both on the top and bottom of the screen but still makes use of an on-screen navigation button.
The Huawei Y5P has a screen display size of 5.45-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 295 PPI density. It also comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and it reaches 73.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Camera
The back houses a single camera of 8 MP with an LED flash for low background shooting. This single snapper also has HDR, and panorama support. It can also record 2k video quality at 30 seconds per frame.

The Y5P packs the same Mediatek MT6762R Helio P22 chipset on the Y6P. The chip has an octa-core processor handling its assignment at a speed of 2.0 GHz with PowerVR GE8320 for graphics.
It has an internal storage of 32GB that is paired with 2GB RAM for multitasking and gaming. It runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 but still without Google Play Services.
This is in favor of Huawei’s own HMS suite. Users will make use of the App Gallery instead of Google Playstore for apps and games download on the device.

The Huawei Y5P is fueled by a nonremovable battery of 3,020mAh with 10W charging support through micro-USB 2.0. This battery should be able to last up to 24 hours under normal usage considering the screen size.

The Huawei Y5P is now available for pre-order in Romania at a price of 599 RON about €125.
