Realme X3 Specs and Price

Best Freelancers to help you Grow your Business

The Realme X3 is the direct successor to the Realme X2 and also a sightly less premium version of the  Realme X3 Super Zoom. The differences between both smartphones aren’t really super substantial as they both have the capacity to offer high-end performance. However, the drop in camera hardware and RAM / Storage configuration are worth being taken into cognizance.

Design and Display

The design department of the Realme X3 shares the same features as the Realme X3 Super Zoom. Basically, they are mirror images of each other, with a very minute difference which can only be revealed via meticulous scrutiny.

The rear covering a gradient design made of light and shades of the color. This rear covering is home to the Realme branding which indicates its a Realme smartphone.

Still on the rear of this mobile phone, you also have a camera module that arranges the cameras in a vertical position. The first camera in the array has an orange ring, as opposed to the square one on the Realme X3 Superzoom. This little detail sums up the only possible way you can differentiate both smartphones from their chassis design.

Flipping this Android smartphone to get a frontal view, we discover the same 6.6-inch IPS LCD display from the Realme 6 Super Zoom. This display has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels and a density of 399 PPI.

The Cameras

The camera department lies the major factor which creates a dichotomy between Realme X3 and the slightly more premium Realme X3 super zoom.

The Realme X3 rear camera department does away with the periscope camera technology on its bigger brother. This means you have got a telephoto system with a lesser range. It offers a 2x optical zoom as opposed to the 5x optical zoom on the X3 Superzoom.

However, the Telephoto camera on here offers more pixels as compensation. The Telephoto camera holds a 12MP sensor as opposed to the 8MP camera on the X3 Super Zoom.

The selfie camera section saw a drop in pixels, as the primary camera moved from having a 32MP primary camera to having a 16MP primary camera. It retains the same 8MP ultrawide camera for wide selfies.

Hardware and Software

There isn’t much to say about the hardware as the Realme X3 and Realme X3 Super Zoom share very similar capabilities for performance. However, the differences in variants are worth noting.

Under the hood is the same Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ Processor and Adreno 640 GPU.  RAM variants include 6GB / 8GB, while for storage it’s just 128GB . This comes in opposition to the 8GB / 12GB RAM variants and 128GB / 256GB storage variants on the Realme X3 Super Zoom.

On the software side, it runs the Realme user interface on top of the Android 10 operating system.

Connectivity

The Realme X3  features a USB Type-C port, dual-band Wifi Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Please note that there isn’t a 3.5mm headphone jack and as such private audio listening is done either through a USB-C headphone or via a wireless headphone

Internet connectivity on the Realme X3  is capped at 4G LTE, this means you won’t have the luxury of 5G internet speed. Download and uploads are limited to 4G speed.
