Design and Display
The Vivo Y70S adopts a new double-grain stitching design. The smooth panel is made with a combination of a matte surface and a bright surface texture. This naturally makes the device looks attractive and premium.
The panel is housing the cameras set-up and an LED flash while the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. It measures 162 x 76.6 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weight 190 grams.
On the front, it’s equipped with a 6.53-inch FHD+ star screen that gives the traditional 5.5-inch feel. It has a screen ratio of up to 90.72%, a larger display area, and offer more display contents.
Overall, users will be getting curved frame design, slim and elegant body and there is also blue eye protection mode to protect your smart eyes.
Camera
On the display punch hole is a selfie camera of 16-megapixel. Meanwhile, on the top left corner of the panel is triple cameras that consist of a 48-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth effects.
The Y70S camera features LED flash, HDR, panorama and can shoot 4k videos.

At the heart of Vivo Y70S is Samsung 8nm Exynos 880 chipset. The chip comprises of Cortex-A77 CPU cores clocking at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A53 CPU cores running at 1.8GHz coupled with Mali-G76 MP5 graphics.
The Exynos 880 is still at the same clocked speed of the Exynos 980 5G SoC. The handset has LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.
It has 128GB and 8GB internal memory. Meanwhile, it’s powered by Android 10 OS along with FunTouch OS 10 UI.
Battery and Network
The Vivo Y70S is equipped with a 4500mAh large capacity battery. Though large this is a bit smaller than the 5000 mAh battery available in the Vivo Y50 and Vivo Y11.
The battery is coupled with dual-engine flash charging and AI power-saving engine. Its promise to last up to about 8.3 hours of games, 11.8 hours of chat, 15.2 hours of reading in a single charge.
The Vivo Y70S packs a 90mm liquid-cooled heat dissipation heat pipe, and also a multi-layer PGS graphite heat sink close to 10,000 square millimeters. This reduces the CPU junction temperature to 10°C when gaming or charging.
There is a Multi-turbo acceleration engine, intelligent control of the network, heat dissipation, AI, and multi-application which improve the overall user experience.
Apart from the global 5G, you will get the regular 4G LTE network, GPS, and 2.0, Type-C 1.0.

Vivo Y70s price starts at around $287 for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model while the higher 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition will cost $310.
In Nigeria, the Y70S is expected to start selling at a price of 120,000 Naira, 38,000 Ksh in Kenya, and 2000 Ghs in Ghana.
