Huawei has just announced a new smartphone with a moniker Huawei Y9a. The phone is the tweak version of Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G unveiled recently in China. Huawei Y9A sports a 6.63-inch IPS display and four cameras.

Design and Display
In terms of body design, Huawei takes inspiration from the changing hues of skies and the arts of light and shadows. It adopts the trending classic halo design for the back cameras.
The 3D arc design and nano texture makes it feel good and grip comfortable on any hand. It has 163.5 x 76.5 x 9 mm and 197 grams weighs.
The Huawei Y9a is further blessed with a 6.63-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD panel on the front with a 92% screen-to-body ratio but without a notch or punch hole. This is because the device makes use of a pop-up front camera for selfies.
Camera
On the backside, you will see the circular design from HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro for the camera module but it sports different sensors. The camera consists of 64 MP primary paired with an 8MP 120° ultra-wide unit, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter.
On the front, it has a motorized pop-up front camera of 16 MP for selfies. The camera is shooting up to 4K videos and has a quad-LED flash. As you can see, the Huawei Y9a has a better camera than the Enjoy 20 Plus that features a 48MP + 8MP + 2 MP.
Hardware and Software
On the hardware, instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset available on the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G, this one comes with a MediaTek G80 SoC that has 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage based on the regions it is sold.
You can still expand the storage if needed up to 256GB via Huawei’s proprietary NM SD card. Well, there is Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, and the device runs on Android 10with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services).
The sensors on the device are a gyroscope, compass, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Battery and Network
The battery on the device is a nonremovable capacity of 4,200mAh with supports for 40W fast charging in the Middle East, Africa, and some countries in Middle Asia. Meanwhile, in other regions, it comes with a 4,200mAh battery and will only support 22.5W fast charging.
As for the connectivity, the Y9a has supports for 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.

The Huawei Y9a will be available in three colors such as Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Bllack.
It will cost 200 EUR which is about 95,000 Naira in Nigeria. In Ghana, it will sell for 1,500 Ghs and 28,000 Ksh in Kenya.
