Design and Display
The main tagline of the Ulefone Armor X8 reads “Elegance in design and durability in performance” This tagline speaks volumes about the package it’s offering.
The Armor X8 is unarguably one of the better looking rugged mobile phones. Comparing its design with its predecessor shows a great distinction, as Ulefone really a substantial effort offering a more appreciable design.
The rear panel bears a carbon fiber looking material, on which you will find an array of tripe cameras and a capacitive fingerprint sensor. The rear panel also features an LED flash and the Ulefone branding which indicates its a Ulefone smartphone.
Upfront we have a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display which is around 0.7-inch bigger than the display on the previous model. This display has a resolution of 720 x 1440 and a density of 282 PPI.
Whats more enthusiasts we have Glove mode and wet touchscreen functionality, which lets you operate the display with a glove on and also in the rain.
The parameters behind durability didn’t really change much from the previous model. It’s the same setup that provides resistance water and dust. It also bears drop protection.

Other performance facilitators include a PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit, a 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage, which doubles the 2GB / 16GB config we had on the Ulefone X7. We also get a non-removable 5080mAh battery.
On the software side, the Ulefone Armor X8 runs its interface on top of the Android 10 operating system.
