Design
This laptop is refers to as the “World’s Thinnest Laptop” by the company all thanks to its slim, lightweight and stylish design. The Acer Swift 3 is the ideal laptop for working on the move with its aluminum and magnesium-aluminum metal chassis making it tough, durable yet portable.
The lid has a sleek finishing with polished Acer logo on the back and when opened there are thin bezels around the screen, although, the bottom bezel is slightly thicker than the sides and top bezel which host the 720p webcam.
The Acer Swift 3 laptop has a thin, wide hinge with “Swift” perfectly inscribed on it, thus giving it a sophisticated look and feel.
On the base deck chassis, there is a backlit keyboard where the keys are in the shape of small squares with rounded corners and straight sides. Located at the lower left and top right corners of the keyboard sit s the Page Up and Page Down, and the Control and Delete keys.
Below the keyboard’s arrow keys, there is a Windows Hello-enabled fingerprint reader for an added layer of security and quick access to your laptop via biometric authentication.
Below the keyboard also is a super responsive and accurate smooth, glossy trackpad for control. Also at the bottom panel, there is the speaker cutouts, as well as the ventilation grill.
