Design
HP Spectre x360 (2020) is a high-quality 2-in-1 laptop refers to as the world’s smallest convertible with 90% screen-to-body-ratio. It offers big power, great performance in a small, sleek package with brushed metal finish using the aluminum CNC material.
Despite its sturdy chassis, the HP Spectre x360 (2020) is lightweight, it is impressively thin with a dimension of 11.75 x 8.67 x 0.67 in and 1.36 kg weight for the 14″ model and 12.04 x 7.66 x 0.67 inches with 2.87 pounds weight for the 13″ model.
On the lid, is a stylish chrome HP logo that matches a pair of shiny-silver hinges. When opened, you will also find a new edge-to-edge display with slimmer bezels compare to its predecessor.
HP also input the world’s smallest IR webcam into the razor-thin top bezels. The base chassis also host the full-sized keyboard with white backlit and large keys with good spacing and travel distance, despite the compact design.
There’s no numpad, however, there is a large smooth glass button-less touch below the keyboard for accurate cursor control. To its right is a built-in fingerprint reader that can also be used for Windows Hello biometric logins.
HP still maintain its “gem-cut” design which is most noticeable on the two rear corners of the laptop, which are lopped off into crisp diagonals and where HP has placed, on alternate sides, a USB-C port (intended to be used with the charger) and the power button.

The HP Spectre x360 comes with three touch-screen options: the 13″, 14″ and 15″ all available in 1080p or 4K OLED.
The HP Spectre x360 14 is the newest and latest addition to the series joining the existing 13.3-inch Spectre x360 13 and 15.6-inch Spectre x360 15. Although it is refer to as a 14-inch laptop it utilizes a 13.5-inch display instead of a 14-inch one but in a squarer 3:2 form factor that’s becoming increasingly common on newer Ultrabooks. But, the other two still maintain the 16.10 aspect ratio.
Furthermore, although, 14K OLED display is a great catch, the 1080p panel is also very sharp and clear.
All display size has different display configuration which includes one with 400 nits of brightness and one with 1000 nits. some model also comes with the HP’s vaunted Sure View Reflect privacy technology using the incredible 3000 x 2000 OLED panel.

Performance
HP Spectre x360 highest model is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU which is a power-efficient quad-core SoC based on the Tiger Lake-U generation. It clocks at a base rate of 1.8 GHz and can reach up to 4.1 GHz (four cores), 4.5 GHz (two cores) and 4.6 GHz (one core) thanks to its turbo. This CPU is backed up by a Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics.
There is also a model with the 10th generation quad core Intel Comet Lake i7-10510U processor has 1.8 GHz up to 4.9 GHz Turbo Boost clock speed with 8 MB cache and 4 cores.
There are also other processor based on the 10th Gen CPU, however, all these CPU option is backed up by the Intel® Iris® Plus Graphics card which can easily handle web browsing and other common business tasks.
