Design and Display
Just as we rightly mentioned, Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus is a flagship device, and as such the company wrapped the phone with glass on its body. So both the rear panel and the front has glass. It makes use of an aluminum frame.
In terms of thickness, it measures 159.9 x 72.5 x 8 mm in dimensions and weighs 184 grams. The handset is also equipped with a three dimensional VC liquid cooling system.
The front side offers a display size of 6.5 inches with an AMOLED panel. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 402 PPI density, and a 90Hz high refresh rate.
The device also comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner and the curved screen has an 89.3% screen-to-body ratio.
Cameras
The camera is the smartphone’s major highlight. It parades an impressive quad-camera module on the back. The cameras consist of a 50 megapixel, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto shooter, and a 2 MP macro lens.
Its telephoto lens delivers a 5x hybrid zoom. What’s more, the Reno 5 Pro Plus features DOL-HDR (digital overlay dynamic range technology) which enhances the dynamic range and image and video quality when shooting.
It has a front camera of 32 MP placed on the punch hole. According to the company, the handset has full pixel omnidirectional focusing technology coupled with a unique 2×2 pixel structure, that provides faster and more accurate focusing.
This allows video tracking that locks onto a static subject which in turn will offer better stabilization during focus tracking.

On the hardware, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC that is based on 7 nm+ process technology. It has an octa-core processor that clocked at 2.84 GHz and Adreno 650 graphics card.
It has an inbuilt storage of 128GB + 8GB RAM and 256GB + 12GB RAM. There is no support for micro SDcard. It’s powered by ColorOS 11.1 based on the latest Android 11 operating system.
Battery and Network
Fueling the Oppo Reno 5 Pro Plus is a non-removable battery of 4500 mAh that supports up to 65W fast charging, SuperVOOC 2.0, and also reverse charging technology.
