Design
HP Envy x360 13 (2020) is a stylish and compact, ultra-thin laptop with full aluminum body that makes it easy and portable for all use. The convertible laptop is relatively thin and slim with a dimension of 14.09 x 9.06 x 0.74 in and 4.42 lb weight for the 15″ model and 12.07 x 7.66 x 0.65 in with 2.92lb weight for the 13″ model.
Thanks to the 360° hinge, this laptop can be converted to laptop or tablet, thus, making it efficient for all working environment. This is a somewhat similar design to the business focused HP EliteBook 1030 G7 and HP EliteBook 1040 G7.
Furthermore, HP Envy x360 lid lifts easily and when opened it host the large screen and comes with narrow bezels around the screen, hence, it provides a larger viewing area for an immersive visual experience. The top bezel is slightly thicker to accommodate one of the Envy x360 13’s niftiest features: a 720p webcam with a built-in privacy shutter.
The laptop also has a light and compact chassis which host the full sized two-level backlit keyboard with well-spaced keys that features dedicated Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down keys along the right edge.
In addition, there are kill switches for the microphone and webcam. F1 brings up Windows 10 online support, F4 toggles the keyboard’s backlighting, and F12 conjures the HP Command Center where you can adjust the Envy’s thermal profile. Each key has an LED indicator to help track what’s on and off.
Below the Keyboard is a smooth plastic touchpad like the Apple MacBook Air.
For ports, there’s a microSD slot, two USB-A, a USB-C and a headphone/mic jack.

The HP Envy x360 has two display options. This includes a 13.3-inch diagonal FHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that gives you a clear display.
This multitouch-enabled laptop display offers up to 1000 nits of maximum brightness and 79% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This display also measures 85% screen-to-body ratio.
Similarly, there is a higher model with a 15.6-inch FHD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and up to 1000 nit of brightness to offers stunning images.
Above all, both model feature an image aspect ratio of 16:9, hence resulting into a bigger view of picture.
