Design and Display
Performing an inspection of the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G’s design reveals a reminiscence in the design language used on its less premium sibling. They do not look exactly the same, however, there is no denying the fact that they share design traits.
The rear design setup is the easiest way to tell the difference in design between both smartphones. For starters we have different colours, here we have orange and dark blue, meanwhile the non-plus X60 Gray, Aurora.
The camera module on the X60 Pro Plus 5G bears a slighly different setup incomparison to its non-plus varaint. However we still have four cameras and an LED flash. At the bottom of the rear is the Vivo branding, which indicates its a Vivo smartphone.
Moving upfront, we have the same 6.56-inches AMOLED display as seen on its sibling. This display has a resolution of 1080 x 2376 Pixels, a density of 398 PPI, a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Cameras
The Cameras on the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G takes things up a notch with improved cameras on the rear. Instead of having the 48MP + 8MP + 13MP + 13MP on the rear of the non-pro plus varaint, we have a setup that reads a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP periscope telephoto camera, a 32MP regular telephoto camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera.
This rear camera setup is capable of shooting videos up to 8k @ 30fps, similar to what we have on the Samsung galaxy S21 ultra 5G. Please consult the specs sheet for details on the other video recording modes.
On the selfie side, we have got a single 32MP camera, which is also capable of shooting videos up to 4k @ 30fps.
Hardware and Software
Performance on the Vivo X60 Pro Plus 5G is a setup of its non-pro plus sibling, which is all thanks to its 5nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, as opposed to the Exynos 1080 processor on its less premium sibling.
There is also an increased storage and RAM varaints, enthusiasts will have the options of either 8GB RAM / 128GB storage or a 12GB RAM / 256GB storage combo. Enthusiasts will also have a non-removable 4200mAh battery and a 55W fast charge mechanism.
