OPPO is rumoured to be launching new products in the coming days and it appears that they might be releasing two phones at the same time i.e. Reno 5 and Reno 5F.
Our sources have assured us that the 5G versions and the Reno 5 Pro variant will not be released here in Nigeria due to connectivity support and price competitiveness reasons respectively. It is no news that gadget prices have skyrocketed since the NGN-USD exchange rate worsened a few months ago.
It appears that the Reno 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, 4350 mAh Battery, Air Gestures, Motion Gestures and 50W VOOC Flash Charging System. Leaks also hinted that the Reno 5 will flaunt a curved 6.43-inch AMOLED display, 1080p resolution with a hyperrealistic 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of the camera, leaks hint at a quad camera set-up with the main shooter being 64MP, supported by a 16MP Ultra-wide lens, 13MP Telephoto lens and a 2MP Depth sensor.
On the front side, it appears there will be a single 32MP selfie camera.
We’re expecting a thin and light smartphone, weighing no heavier than 184g. The same leak also hinted at the OPPO Reno5 being the first OPPO smartphone to flaunt the unreleased color-shifting electrochromic back as seen on the OnePlus concept phone, even though there is no proof to how true this is.
We advise that you keep a close eye on the official OPPO website on www.oppo.com/ng and possibly follow their social media pages on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for confirmed updates.
