Design and Display
In terms of body design, the Poco F3 maintains a decent body that is built with glass and an aluminum frame. Since the handset is the rebadged Redmi K40, there is nothing much to say. However, it comes in Arctic White and Night Black color options, plus a special Deep Ocean Blue colorway which is not available on the Redmi K40.
You will notice the Poco branded logo on the panel. The smartphone is looking eye-catching which is all thanks to its slim and sleek body design.
On the front, it has a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED flat Dot Display that features a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. There is MEMC, HDR10+, True Color, a 360° light sensor, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Further is a True Display that automatically adjusts color warmth based on your environment.
Cameras
Back to the cameras, the Poco M3 is blessed with a 48MP Sony IMX582 f/1.79 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle sensor that has a 119° FOV, and a 5MP f/2.4 telemacro lens.
The handset has several camera features for both stills and videos like LED flash and 4K videos. The front camera is 20 MP with a Face ID.
Hardware and Software
The Poco F3 is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor with an octa-core clocking at a speed of 3.2 GHz. It has Adreno 650 graphics card and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12 for POCO.
The inbuilt memory is 128GB with 6GB RAM and another model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is no arrangement for a micro SDcard.
Battery and Network
Fueling the phone is a 4520mAh battery which claims to provide up to 2 days of usage. It has support for 33W fast charging via USB-C, which allows you to charge the phone from zero to full percent in just 52 minutes.
Just as expected, the Poco F3 has a 5G network with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6 and dual SIMs. Other features on the phone include Dolby Atmos Hi-res Audio, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, an X-axis linear motor, Dual Speakers, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint.
