Design and Display
The Vivo Y52 5G takes on a look different from its predecessor, leaving us with substantial cues to differentiate it from its predecessor, using aesthetics.
Taking a look at the rear, we discover Vivo went for a more traditional-looking camera module, which is a square with three cameras and an LED flash, as opposed shape that seemed to be two triangles joined together, as seen on its predecessor.
Aside from the camera module, we have got the Vivo branding on the rear, which pretty much tells you it’s a Vivo smartphone.

On the rear, we have a 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2MP depth camera with an aperture of f/2.4. The video record on this camera is capped at 4k @ 30fps.
Hardware and Software
On the performance side, we have the MediTek Dimensiy processor in the place of the Snapdragon 665 processor seen on the Vivo Y51.
The other performance facilitators on this device include 4GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a non-removable 5000mAh battery, which is bigger than the 4500mAh battery on the Vivo Y51.
On the software side, we have the Funtouch 11 user interface running on the Android 11 operating system.
