The Xiaomi Mi 11x Pro offers a package that accrues it the title of a more premium sibling to the Mi 11x. Design and Display

If the first impression you had of the Xiaomi Mi 11x Pro design was that it looks familiar, then you are correct. This design is basically a reminiscence of the previous released Xiaomi Redmi K40 pro.

It certainly isn’t the first time we have seen on different Xiaomi smartphones bearing the same design. Without a doubt, the repetition of smartphone design lowers the bar of innovation, however, enthusiasts who love the original design, may not worry too much about seeing it on another smartphone that could be a cheaper Android smartphone.

Taking off with the design setup on the rear, we have a gradient design, on which you will find a triple camera setup, merged with an LED flash. Here you will also find the Xiaomi branding, which reveals the OEM.

The colour options available for the rear panel covering, includes Celestial Silver, Lunar White, and Cosmic Black.

Switching sides to get a front view, we are greeted by a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display as seen on the Redmi K40 Pro. The highlights of this display includes a resolution of 1080 x 2400, a density of 395 PPI and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Cameras

On the camera department of the Xiaomi Mi 11x Pro, we have a set of capable cameras, with the chief of them being the 108MP primary camera, as seen on the  Xiaomi Mi 11 and also the Xiaomi Mi 10 5G released last year.

The other performance facilitators include the Adreno 660 GPU, a non-removable 4520mAh battery merged with a 33W fast charge mechanism. The RAM and storage variants available for this device include 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM.

On the software side, we have the MIUI 12 user interface running on the Android 11 operating system.

The Xiaomi Mi 11x Pro features Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Please note that the Xiaomi Mi 11 doesn’t feature a 3.5mm headphone jack. Private audio listening is done via type-c headphones or via wireless headphones.

The top of the line 8GB / 256GB variant goes for $569, which translates to about 216,505 Naira in Nigeria, 3,287 GHC in Ghana and 60,912 KSH in Kenya.

The Xiaomi Mi 11x Pro was announced on April 23rd, 2021, and is expected to be available for purchase as from May 5th, 2021.
