Design and Display
The Tecno Spark Go 2021 brandishes an eye gradient colour system that sets it aside from its predecessor. It’s pretty much one of the best gradient colour systems on any Tecno phone and it’s most evident when you go with the Blue/Orange variant.
Putting the gradient system and the rear side lines leaves us with pretty much the same design placements.
We have a camera module holding two cameras and an LED flash in a vertical array on the rear. We also have a capacitive fingerprint sensor, alongside a speaker grill. Which was pretty much what we had on its predecessor.
Flipping this Andriod phone to get a front view reveals a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with a drop notch holding its front camera. This setup is pretty much the same as that of the Spark Go 2021.
The highlights of this display include a resolution of 720 x 1600 Pixels and a density of approximately 269 PPI.
Enthusiast that decides to purchase the Tecno Spark Go 2021 will have three colour options which comprise Black, Blue, Blue/Orange.
The Cameras
On the camera department of the Tecno Spark Go 2021, we have a setup with a resemblance to its predecessor from 2021.
The rear setup comprises a 13MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8. There is also a secondary camera, which wasn’t really made known as at the time this article was written. However, the video recording capability of this camera is capped at 1080p@30fps.
Upfront, we have a single 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0. This camera is supported by an LED flash.
Hardware and Software
The Tecno Spark Go 2021 falls in the same low-end category as its predecessor. Here we have a quad-core processor at 1.8GHz as the primary performance facilitator. This basically tells us that this smartphone is best suited for non-power-intensive tasks.
Also on the performance train, we have a 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, and a non-removable 5000mAh Li-Po battery.
On the software side, we have the HiOS 7.6 user interface running on the Android 11 operating system.
Connectivity
The Tecno Spark Go (2021) features a 3.5mm jack and micro-USB port. It also features Wifi and Bluetooth 4.2
Internet connectivity on the Tecno Spark Go 2021 is capped at 4G LTE, due to the absence of 5G support.
