Design and Display
The Realme GT Master Explorer’s design is a reminiscent of the regular GT. What can be tagged as disparities are the screen sizes and the colour options.
Here enthusiasts will have four colour options that Include Gray, White, Aurora and Apricot, as opposed to three colour options on the other that include Gray, White and Aurora.
Aside from the colour option difference, the Realme GT Explorer happens to bear a slightly bigger display coming at 6.55 inches as opposed to 6.43 inches on the GT master.
Like the other, this display is based on a Super AMOLED panel. It has a resolution of 1080 X 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the screen density dropped from 409PPI to being approx 402 PPI here.
The Cameras
The Realme GT master explorer rear camera setup bears the major difference it has with its sibling.
On the rear, we have a 50MP primary camera as opposed to the 64MP, a 16MP ultrawide camera with a 123 degree field of view as opposed to 8MP paired with 119˚ field of view.
Also on the rear, is a 2MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera setup is capable of shooting videos up to 4k @ 60fps
Moving upfront, we have the same 32MP camera with an aperture of f/2.5. Here video recording is capped at 1080p @ 30fps.
Hardware and software
On the performance side, the Realme GT master explorer rocks the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor, an Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB storage option, a 4500mAh Li-Po battery and a 65W fast charge mechanism.
On the software side, we have the Realme UI 2.0 user interface running on the Android 11 operating system.
Connectivity
The Realme GT master explorer features, low-energy Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a USB type-c port (2.0). Please note that there isn’t a headphone jack on this device.
