Design and Display
The Vivo Y12a comes in a nice body design that is available in dazzling colors. It has a Glacier Blue color that plays a subtle rainbow that dominates over a pale blue surface, just like a glacier magically glazed by sunshine.
The second color is Phantom Black and it’s inspired by the classic luster of natural black agate stones. It blends tranquil black with refined deep blue which gives a sense of a high version.
On the front, the device offers a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen and has a teardrop notch, that provides an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen packs an 81.6% screen-to-body ratio.
Cameras
For selfies, the Vivo Y12a has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The rear panel on the other hand features a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. The 2 MP bokeh effect can deliver accurate and sophisticated results which are all thanks to its updated bokeh algorithm.
There is also Vivo’s Face Wake that you can use to unlock your device. This is paired with the Side Fingerprint.

The Vivo Y12a has a Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439 chipset with an octa-core processor clocking at a speed of 4×1.95 GHz. It features Adreno 505 and is powered by Funtouch 11.
It also has Vivo exclusive Multi-Turbo 3.0 which focuses on optimizing core scenes to reduce stuttering and lag in games. The handset has 3 GB of RAM coupled with built-in storage of 32 GB and a microSD card slot.
Battery and Network
The Y12a boasts a 5,000mAh battery supported by AI power-saving technology. The juicer promise to last for 17.4 hours of online HD movie streaming, or 10.2 hours of gameplay.
It also has 5V/1A Reverse Charging. So you can use your phone to power other devices just like a power bank. The connectivity options include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
