While this Tecno Phone was launched the same month as the Pova Neo, the only similarity between the two is the 6000 mAh battery, because in the Pova 5G you have a far more superior device compared to the Neo even without the 5G.

Design and Display
Tecno Pova 5G is built on an all plastic body and is available for now in just one colour: Aether Black. The front is covered in glass with an infinity-O cutout for the front camera.
On the back, you would see three vertically placed cameras with the fingerprint sensor on the side just like in the Pova 2.
This Tecno phone sports a 6.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display supports 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth experience when gaming or watching fast paced content. A 180 Hz touch sampling rate also helps for better screen response rate while playing games.
The Cameras
Tecno Pova 5G features 50 megapixels triple AI camera on the back for capturing those lovely memories. The camera consists of a 50 megapixels wide-angle sensor, a 2 megapixels macro sensor, and 2 megapixels depth sensor.
The rear camera has quad-LED flash and supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and Panorama. There is also some form of video stabilization technology built-in to provide more steady recording even with shaky hands.
In the front, you get a 16 megapixels wide-angle camera for taking selfies. There is also a front facing LED dual-LED flash for the selfie camera.

The Tecno Pova 5G comes with a 5G flagship chipset based on an impressive 6 nm technology. This promises solid performance for work and gaming as well as watching movies and browsing the web.
The MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 5G (6 nm) octa-core processor is built on a dual-cluster architecture consisting of a dual-core Cortex-A78 clocked at up to 2.4GHz and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at up to 2.0GHz.
You also get top grade memory and storage with the android phone offering an 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 built-in storage. These will help to speed up the smartphone for a smoother performance. This should the Pova 5G a decent gaming phone.
Just like in the Tecno Spark 8C, the Pova 5G LE8 also offers Memory Fusion technology. The technology enables you increase the RAM capacity of your device by up to 3GB via virtual memory, essentially giving your device up to 11GB of RAM for an even smoother experience.
Like all Pova series phones, the Pova sports a massive 6000 mAh battery. While this is impressive it is noticeably smaller than the 7000 mAh provided on the Tecno Pova 2. The android phone supports fast charging with 18W fast charging capacity built-in.
