Umidigi Power 7S is the direct successor to the Umidigi Power 5S and the most affordable member of the 2022 iteration of the Umidigi Power series. It is more or less like a stripped down variant of the Power 7 and more so the Power 7 Max. While there was a number of tradeoffs to make it more affordable, the Umidigi Power 7S shows no compromise in the battery department featuring the same 6150 mAh for an impressive battery life.

Compared to the Power 7, the Power 7S features a less powerful processor and 50% less storage. It also offers a downgraded camera from a 20MP triple camera in the Power 7 to 16MP dual camera. It also lacks a fingerprint sensor.

Design and Display
The Umidigi Power 7s features a 3D textured design finishing available Sunbeam Gold, Atlantic Blue and Reef Gray. The surface is designed to be resistant to fingerprint. It looks similar to the Umidigi F3 SE.
This Umidigi phone features two customizable buttons in addition to the power button and the volume control buttons. The customizable buttons can be programmed for quick access to apps and phone features. For example, you can set it such the a single press, double press, and long press will open an app or activate a phone feature like turn on the torchlight.
Umidigi Power 7S sports a 6.7-inch display with 720 x 1650 pixels resolution. The display is decent enough for watching movies and browsing the web.
The Cameras
Umidigi Power 7s features a dual camera setup on the back, this is quite different from the 5S, which features a 16MP triple cameras on the back.
Here you get a 16 megapixels primary camera and an 8 megapixels ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view.
The rear camera has dual-LED flash. You get an AI enhanced 8 megapixels camera for taking selfies and for Face Unlock.
Hardware and Software
Umidigi Power 7S features a Unisoc T310 (12nm) Quad-core chipset. This is the same processor in the in the Umidigi A11s. The chipset is built on a dual-cluster architecture with a Cortex-A75 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and tri-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz.
This Umidigi phone offers 4GB RAM with an option of 64GB built-in storage. You can upgrade the built-in storage via a dedicated microSD slot with support for up to 256GB of additional storage via a memory card.
Connectivity
The android phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 5.0. You get a built-in FM antenna, so you do not need to plug in a earphone to the headphone jack to listen to FM radio.
The smartphone supports 4G LTE with dual 4G VoLTE and dual-Wi-Fi. It also supports NFC.
