The Design and Display
Available in Eco Black, Sea Salt White and Digital Green colors, the Tecno Camon 19 features a design reminiscent of the Tecno Spark 9 Pro. It features an all plastic body.
The camera placement on this Tecno phone are similar to the Spark 9 Pro. You get an infinity-O cutout for the front camera. With a rear camera that looks like dual camera on the surface with two camera rings, but on close observation, you would discover it has three rear cameras because one of the camera rings hosts two cameras.
Tecno Camon 19 features the same display as its predecessor as well as the Camon 18P. The 6.8-inch IPS display offers a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels.

Tecno Camon 19 features an upgraded rear camera. You get a 64 megapixels AI triple camera. A 64 megapixel main camera, a 2 megapixels depth sensor as well as a QVGA AI lens. This should result in improved photography experience with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), HDR, RGBW sensitive lens with enhanced brightness in low light. The camera can record full HD videos.
Upfront, we have a single 16 megapixel selfie camera which is capable of recording videos up to 1080p @ 30fps.
Hardware and Software
Tecno Camon 19 runs Android 12 with HIOS 8.6 on a MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) octa-core processor. Graphics processing is handled by a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. This is the same processor we saw in the Tecno Camon 18T and Camon 18i. Newer models like the Pova Neo 2 also have the same processor.
You can pick from two options, one offering 4GB RAM with 128GB built-in storage and the other offering 6GB RAM with 128GB built-in storage. You also get memory fusion just like in the Infinix Note 12 VIP that enables you add up to 5GB virtual RAM
Like the predecessor, you still get a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging capacity.
