Design, Display, and Camera
The Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G looks similar to the 4G model but is slightly bigger and thicker. It also swaps out the superior AMOLED display provided with the 4G model for an IPS display. The camera quality also seem downgraded too.
You get the same color options as the 4G model i.e. Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Cool Blue. In the front a dot-notch is provided for the 16 megapixel selfie camera.
A 6.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 450 nits brightness. The display has 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
On the back, the 64MP triple camera in the 4G model has been replaced with a 50MP dual camera consisting of a 50 megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8 megapixels ultrawide angle lens with 119° FoV and an f/2.2 aperture.
The downgrade on the display and camera makes this smartphone not the best the 5G variant of the M4 Pro. The Poco X4 Pro looks a more appropriate 5G variant.

Xiaomi Poco M4 Pro 5G is powered by a MediaTek MT6833P Dimensity 810 (6 nm) octa-core chipset. This is the same chipset we found in the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 5G and the Realme 8S 5G.
The chipset is built on a dual-core architecture having a dual-core Cortex-A76 and a hexa-core Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.4GHz and 2.0GHz respectively.
You get a 64GB model with 4GB RAM, a 128GB model with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM and a 256GB model with 4GB RAM.
The Xiaomi phone sports a 5000 mAh battery to give you the juice you need for the days job. Charging is also fast with support for 33W fast charging. Xiaomi boasts you can charge this phone from 0 to 100% in under 60 minutes.
