Design, Display, and Camera
Itel P38 Pro is wrapped in a plastic body available in Night Black, Ocean Blue, and Mint Green. The front 5 megapixels selfie camera is housed on a dewdrop notch in the front.
The cheap android phone sports a large display measuring 6.8-inches and offering a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. This is the same screen size and resolution as the P37 Pro.
On the back, the cameras are vertically lined up just like in the P38. You get two rear lenses, one a 13 megapixels sensor and the other a QVGA AI bokeh sensor.
The rear camera can record 1080p Full HD videos while the front camera can handle 720p HD videos. A fingerprint sensor is provided on the back for unlocking the phone.
Hardware and Software
Itel P38 Pro retains the same Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A chipset found in the P37 Pro. This is also the same chipset we saw in models like the Nokia C21, the Nokia C21 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy A03 Core.
The chipset features two Cortex-A55 processors at 1.6GHz and 1.2GHz respectively. This Itel phone runs on Android 11 (Go Edition).
You get 64GB built-in storage for storing your files with a memory card slot that supports up to 128GB of additional storage.
Like the P38 a 2GB of physical RAM is provided. However, the Pro Edition support Memory Fusion just like the Tecno Spark 8C and similar to Extended RAM in more premium models like the Infinix Note 12 VIP and Infinix Note 12 G96.
With Memory Fusion, you can add up to 2GB of virtual RAM to your P38 Pro for a smoother performance.
Itel P38 Pro sports an impressive 6000 mAh battery. This offers more capacity that the 5000 mAh provided for the P37 Pro. More battery capacity gives the smartphone a better battery endurance with up to 32 hours talktime and up to 22 hours video playback time.
Unlike the P37 Pro this Itel smartphone features fast charging, thanks to the 18W fast charging capacity.
